West Coast Energee (Scotland) Limited acquires Lewis based West Electrical Services and Testing Limited

South Uist, Western Isles (24/04/2014) – South Uist-based West Coast Energee (Scotland) Limited has completed its acquisition of West Electrical Services and Testing Limited (WEST), an Isle of Lewis- based company providing electrical services and renewable energy solutions.

West Coast Energee (Scotland) Limited employ 12 full time staff throughout its network. Working with its partners and contractors across the Highlands and Islands, Energee and WEST have collectively installed over one third of Scotland’s micro-wind turbines in 2013.

Angus MacDonald, established WEST in 1997, and has, for the past 17 years personally nurtured the company to become a leading renewable energy installer.

John Daniel Peteranna, Managing Director of Energee and Angus MacDonald state, “We are both excited about the merging of resources.  The combination of additional expertise will be a great advantage to the customers of both companies; this buyout will be of significant benefit to both current and also future customers.”

Angus Macdonald continued by saying “I would just like to say thank you to all my customers for your support over the years and assure you that together we will continue to provide a high level of support that you have come to expect. WEST’s warranties with the wind turbines currently in operation will now be transferred and supported directly by Energee”
